Job summary

Numbers Executive is seeking an Associate (Years 1–3) to join in Melbourne or Sydney. You will oversee the analyst pool and support senior bankers in originating and executing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, and strategic advisory mandates.

You will conduct in-depth financial, valuation, and industry analysis, build and review financial models, and mentor junior staff while developing client relationships. This is a high-profile role in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• M&A execution experience from an investment bank or top-tier advisory firm.
• Strong technical skills in corporate finance and financial modelling.
• Ability to lead and develop junior team members and nurture client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the analyst pool and support senior bankers in originating and executing transactions.
• Conduct in-depth financial, valuation, and industry analysis and lead due diligence workstreams.
• Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and live deal materials.
• Build and review financial models, including three-statement models and capital structure analysis.
• Mentor, train, and develop analysts.
