Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced field technician to lead startup, commissioning, testing and maintenance of large-scale LV switchboards at client sites, with emphasis on data center projects. You will manage testing, documentation and handover, while coordinating with project teams and customers.

Role requires unrestricted electrical licence, white card and valid driver’s license, with on-site work and occasional travel. Safety, compliance and quality are essential in this critical service role.

Qualifications

Unrestricted electrical licence is mandatory.
White card and valid drivers licence are required.
Experience with LV switchgear testing, commissioning and fault finding.
Familiar with primary/secondary injection and flash testing.

Responsibilities

Delivery of site works on LV switchgear panels including commissioning, testing and handover.
Investigate site issues and perform repairs as needed.
Complete preventative maintenance for LV switchgear (ACBs/MCCBs).
Prepare tools, test equipment and site documentation for activities.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet milestones.
Manage site paperwork and ensure timely submission to client portals.
Adhere to WHS procedures and safety standards on-site.
Some remote travel may be required.
