Job summary

Talent Solution Partners in Melbourne is seeking a detail‑oriented materials coordinator to support fabric and trim sourcing for ready‑to‑wear collections. You will liaise with global suppliers, manage pricing, delivery timelines and technical data, and coordinate sampling through to bulk production.

Your role provides exposure across fabric development, lab dips and colour approvals, with opportunities to work with an international supplier network and contribute to multiple collections from

Qualifications

• Exposure to garment sampling or in-house production workflows.
• Interest in fabrics, trims, garment construction and quality.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal teams.
• Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with an ERP or PLM system (Netsuite advantageous).
• Around two years' apparel experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support fabric and trim sourcing in line with design and quality requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery and technical information.
• Coordinate sampling and bulk material orders across local and offshore partners.
• Manage lab dips and colour approvals alongside the Design team.
• Maintain accurate fabric, trim, inventory and supplier records.
• Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), including material costs and yields.
• Support material testing, stocktakes and replenishment.
• Work closely with Production and Development to keep collections moving.
