We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Lunch Cover Educators to join our team across our network of Y Kindergartens in Victoria. Whether you’re an experienced educator, newly qualified, or currently studying your Certificate III or Diploma, this is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Where you’ll work

Germain Street Kindergarten features a large, natural outdoor play spaceand a play-based programthat is community-focused. Our experienced team of educatorsare committed to nurturing children’s curiosity and love of learning, and we are seeking someone to join our team and help us continue to grow and enhance our program.

Role Details :

Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 12 : 00pm to 2 : 00pm

6 lunch cover hours per week

What You’ll Do

As a Lunch Cover Educator, you’ll :

• Support the teaching team during lunch breaks to maintain a caring, safe environment for all children
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision across indoor and outdoor play
• Engage positively with children, helping create a sense of fun and security
• Work collaboratively with educators and leaders to uphold the Y’s standards of excellence and inclusion

What You’ll Bring

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward this qualification)
• Reliability, warmth, and a team-focused attitude
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• A genuine love for children and a commitment to learning and professional growth
