Job summary

RA Drilling Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable Traffic Control Person to join our team in NSW. You must hold valid NSW Roads TC Tickets and a White Card, along with a manual license, to ensure safe traffic management on site.

The project is expected to run for at least 6 months, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for advancement. You will direct traffic, set up signs, and coordinate with crews to keep everyone safe in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NSW TC Tickets and a White Card.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail with a focus on safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
• Previous experience in traffic control or construction is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control the flow of traffic in construction zones, special events, and road maintenance areas.
• Communicate clearly with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to ensure everyone’s safety.
• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic signs, cones, and barricades.
• Monitor traffic conditions and adjust signage as needed.
• Provide clear directions to motorists, ensuring the smooth and safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians.
