Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to establish and lead a new LPG transport operation in the Dandenong/Hallam area. You will supervise drivers, oversee fleet safety, compliance, and day-to-day delivery activities, and help set up the new depot while coordinating with schedulers and internal stakeholders.

You’ll build a safe, efficient, and well-organised operation that delivers reliable outcomes for customers and supports Origin’s broader energy transition goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations within a regulated or safety-focused environment.
• Experience leading or supervising drivers within heavy vehicle operations.
• Knowledge of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of drivers and oversee fleet, safety, compliance and day-to-day delivery operations.
• Help establish and lead a new LPG transport operation in the Dandenong/Hallam area.
• Oversee depot setup, coordinating load allocation, routing and service delivery.
• Work with drivers, schedulers and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable customer outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law and related safety requirements.

About the role:

You'll lead a team of drivers and oversee fleet, safety, compliance and day-to-day delivery operations, while playing an important role in setting up the new depot and supporting the team as the operation grows. Working closely with drivers, schedulers and internal stakeholders, you'll help create a safe, collaborative and well-organised operation that delivers reliable outcomes for customers.

What will you bring?

• Experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations within a regulated or safety-focused environment
• Experience leading or supervising drivers within heavy vehicle operations
• Knowledge of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A current Car Licence, with HC/MC and Dangerous Goods licences highly regarded
