Job summary

ChoiceOne is seeking a Locum Sonographer for a assignment in Gympie, Australia. The role includes full-time hours with 7.5-hour shifts across five days, or compressed 9-hour shifts over four days, at a well-equipped private clinic.

You will work alongside an on-site Radiologist using a Philips Epic scanner, delivering general, obs/gyn, small parts, vascular and MSK scans. Dates required: 12–23 October 2026.

Qualifications

• ASAR accreditation is required.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of scans across general, obstetric/gynecology, small parts, basic vascular and MSK.
• Work at a well-equipped private clinic alongside an on-site Radiologist.
• Utilise a Philips Epic scanner to deliver accurate ultrasound assessments.
• Flexible scheduling including full-time shifts or compressed 9-hour shifts.
