Job summary

Aussie Locums is seeking two experienced Sonographers for flexible locum positions in Rockhampton, QLD. Roles start January 2026 with dates and durations fully flexible.

You’ll work at a modern clinic or hospital per request, joining a team of five Sonographers with no supervision of trainees and access to on-site Radiologists. Key requirements include ultrasound qualification, ASAR accreditation, and proficiency in obstetrics, general, and vascular scanning.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in ultrasound.
• ASAR accreditation or equivalent is preferred.
• Scanning capabilities across obstetrics, general and vascular.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations in obstetrics, general, and vascular imaging.
• Join a team of five Sonographers with no trainee supervision responsibilities.
• Access on-site Radiologists for interpretation as needed.
• Dates and durations are flexible for this locum role.

We are seeking 2 experienced sonographers for a locum role commencing January onwards. All dates and durations will be considered.

The role:

We are seeking two Sonographers for flexible locum opportunities commencing from January onwards in Rockhampton, QLD. Dates and durations are completely flexible, and all levels of experience will be considered thanks to a supportive, well-staffed team environment.

Locums will primarily be based at the modern clinic site, with the option to work at the hospital if specifically requested. You'll be joining a team of five Sonographers, each running their own lists, with no trainee supervision responsibilities required and access to an onsite Radiologists.
