Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a Resident Medical Officer to cover a short-term locum in Lithgow, NSW. The assignment runs 21–27 December 2026 at a 46-bed public hospital in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.

You must have current AHPRA registration and be comfortable working in ward settings. Accommodation is included for the duration of the posting, with rates inclusive of superannuation and casual loading where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Locum cover for 7 days in a 46-bed public hospital.
• Experience in ward-based Resident/Registrar roles preferred.
• Accommodation is provided during the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to ward patients as RMO.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and local health district.
• Document patient care and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with public hospital policies.
