Job summary

Raven's Recruitment is seeking a locum Pharmacist to join a community pharmacy near Canberra. You will cover Thursday to Sunday shifts, acting as the sole pharmacist on some days alongside a pharmacy assistant and an intern.

You will dispense on FRED Plus, counsel customers, and check Webster, with a small amount of cannabis work. Vaccination accreditation is preferred and AHPRA registration is required.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) is required.
• Experience with FRED Plus is essential.
• Experience with FRED POS is preferred.
• Experience working as a Sole Pharmacist is essential.
• Vaccination accreditation is preferred.
• Cannabis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines as the second pharmacist on Thursdays.
• Serve as the sole pharmacist on Fridays with an intern and pharmacy assistant.
• Be the sole pharmacist on weekends with the pharmacy assistant.
• Counsel customers and check Webster.
• Assist with dispensing for cannabis-related items as needed.

Client and Location Information

Community Pharmacy located next to a medical centre, located approx 25kms from Canberra CBD.

Dates and Hours

• Friday 25th September // 10am- 7pm (no break)
• Saturday 26th September // 8am - 2pm (no break)
• Sunday 27th September // 8am - 2pm (no break)
• Thursday 1st October // 8am - 6pm (30min break)
• Friday 2nd October // 8am - 6pm (no break)
• Sunday 4th October // 8am - 2pm (no break)
• Saturday 24th October // 8am - 2pm (no break)
• Sunday 25th October // 8am - 2pm (no break)

Job Description

You will be working as the second pharmacist on Thursdays, the sole pharmacist on Fridays with an intern and pharmacy assistant, and sole on weekends with the pharmacy assistant. The intern helps with the dispensing. Dispensing on FRED Plus, counselling and checking Webster. Small amount of cannabis. No methadone. Vaccination accreditation is preferred.
