Aussie Locums is seeking a Locum Pharmacist for a rural hospital setting in the Gulf Country region, QLD. The role offers hourly rates of $65-$85 plus superannuation, travel and accommodation, with start ASAP and end Sept.

The position supports in-patient, out-patient and day admitted services within a hospital pharmacy team. Community pharmacists are welcome to apply for exposure to clinical pharmacy and a relaxed outback environment with excellent locum rates.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Accreditation.
• Ability to provide all required credentialing documents in a time sensitive manner.
• Working as part of professional pharmacy team within a hospital environment.
• Desirable – Hospital Pharmacy experience
• Positive attitude and a high degree of professional competence.
• Correct working rights for Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pharmacy services to patients within the hospital pharmacy team.
• Support in-patients, out-patients and day admitted patients.
• Follow defined quality standards and provide culturally responsive care.
• Undertake general level clinical pharmacy duties under guidance of senior Pharmacist.

Job Summary
Pharmacist required for a rural hospital setting. The locum is requires a 3 month minimum commitment with a start date of 30th December, 2024. There is 12 months work on offer. The role is working within the hospital Pharmacy team. Community Pharmacists looking for exposure to clinical Pharmacy are welcome to apply. Stunning weather at this time of year. Bring services to remote Australia. The role is HP3 or HP4.

Salary details: $65-$85 p/h (Dependent on experience) + Superannuation – Travel support and Accommodation included.

All about the role

Travel ( up to $1,000) and accommodation is provided.
