Job summary

MARS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a locum role across coastal regional South Australia, delivering OT services in a mixed caseload within Healthy Ageing and Clinical Services.

The contract offers $65-$75 per hour plus Super, accommodation provided and one-way travel covered, with dedicated consultant support and onboarding to ensure a smooth placement.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 2 years experience in home modifications, equipment prescription and acute inpatient care.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and discharge planning skills.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Available from 23rd November for 3+ months.
• Australian Working Rights - Working Holiday Visa holders welcome to apply.

The Opportunity

You'll be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering Occupational Therapy services across a combination of:

• Acute Inpatient Services - Supporting patient assessment, rehabilitation and discharge planning
• Healthy Ageing - Helping older adults maintain independence, safety and quality of life
• Equipment Prescription & Home Modifications - Assessing functional needs and recommending practical solutions
• Multidisciplinary Care - Working alongside Allied Health professionals to deliver patient-centred care
