Job summary

Planet Pharma in Melbourne is seeking a Locum Medical Officer to support early-phase clinical trials. You will conduct participant assessments, obtain consent, monitor safety, and work closely with Principal Investigators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliant study conduct.

Ideal candidates hold Full AHPRA registration, are PGY3 or higher, and possess strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum PGY3.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct participant medical assessments and physical examinations.
• Obtain informed consent and determine study eligibility.
• Monitor participant wellbeing and manage adverse events.
• Support the safe delivery of clinical trials in accordance with GCP and study protocols.
• Collaborate with research, pharmacy and operational teams to ensure high-quality study conduct.
