Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Locum General Radiographer for a busy hospital in Launceston. The role involves general X-ray duties with Siemens/Phillips/Carestream equipment, on-site RIS (Karisma), and collaboration within a multimodality team.

Shifts are typically Monday–Friday with no on-call, though occasional weekend or shift work may apply. Excellent pay, plus accommodation and travel support are provided in a supportive agency environment in Tasmania.

Qualifications

• Experience in General Radiography.
• APHR A registration essential.
• Australian working rights.
• Experience with Siemens Xray/Phillips II/Carestream and Fuji portables/Siemens fluoro.

Responsibilities

• General x-ray duties in a busy hospital setting.
• Operate RIS on site (Karisma) and ensure image quality.
• Collaborate with a multimodality team to deliver patient care.
• Shift pattern: Monday–Friday; no on-call, with occasional weekend/shift work.
