The Details

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8:30 to 16:30 – No shift work but there may be a need for on‑call occasionally.

Machines used: Canon and GE.

Approx patients per day: per day.

Skills Required

• General ultrasound exams (abdo, renal, appendix, FAST scan in trauma etc)
• Gynaecology: pelvic (TA and TV scans), ovarian torsion / endometriosis
• Obstetric: 1st trimester, 2nd trimester and 3rd trimester scans, No nuchal scans
• Limited vascular scans and limited MSK scans
• Paediatric scans: baby cranium / spine / pyloric stenosis / intussusception etc, No baby hips because we have no radiologists on site.
• Small parts: breast, thyroid, testicular scan
• General X‑ray and mobile
