Job summary

Qube is seeking experienced, locally based MC Drivers to join the Gracemere team, transporting dangerous goods from the depot to local and regional sites across the Bowen Basin. This full-time role features a 6-days on/6-days off rotating roster and competitive rates.

Candidates must hold an unrestricted MC Licence and a Dangerous Goods Licence (or obtain one), be able to pass pre-employment medicals, and have road train experience with load restraint knowledge.

Qualifications

• Current MC licence required.
• Dangerous Goods Licence or ability to obtain one preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medicals.
• Prior road train experience highly valued.
• Knowledge of load restraint guidelines is important.
• A positive attitude towards the transport industry.

Responsibilities

• Transport dangerous goods from depot to local and regional sites.
• Drive safely in line with load restraint guidelines and fatigue management rules.
• Complete pre-start checks and maintain logs and paperwork.
• Collaborate with depot team and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

• Current Unrestricted MC Licence


• Current Dangerous Goods Licence (or ability to obtain one)


• Ability to pass pre-employment medicals


• Prior road train experience


• Good knowledge of load restraint guidelines


• A positive attitude towards the transport industry


• Basic Fatigue Management accreditation

The following is preferable, but not essential and we will provide training for:

• Dangerous Goods Licence


• SSAN Security Clearance


• Standard 11
