Followmont Transport is seeking a dedicated and responsible Local Pick Up & Delivery Driver to become a key part of the team in Longreach.

We are looking for a reliable individual to handle the safe pick-up and delivery of a variety of freight, including manual handling of parcel freight, all while adhering to our established rules and regulations.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Full-Time | Permanent
• Monday to Friday | 7:00 am start.
• Local Work

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete pickups and deliveries of general freight
• Safely and efficiently manage deliveries on time and in full
• Work in a Steady Paced Environment while consistently maintaining a high standard of safety and accuracy
• Adhere to established rules, regulations, and processes to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a structured environment
• Must hold a current Heavy Rigid Truck Licence
• Forklift Licence and Experience is desirable
• A professional mindset with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to meeting goals
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and criminal history check
