Job summary

K&S Freighters is seeking local afternooshift drivers at the Botany depot in NSW for the Chemtrans division, focusing on dangerous goods transport. You will perform local and country NSW deliveries, operate pumping equipment, and maintain safety and compliance across all tasks.

We provide four weeks of training, a supportive team, and opportunities for license upgrades and career progression. Applicants with HC licence and a solid driving history are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proven driving experience, minimum 12 months.
• Knowledge of Sydney metro area and routes.
• Safe driving history with no major incidents.
• Ability to wear required PPE and participate in safety procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transporting, loading and unloading Class 8 dangerous goods locally and regionally within NSW.
• Operate specialised pumping equipment safely.
• Wear appropriate PPE including chemical suits, face shields and helmets as required.
• Complete customer deliveries to clients and their customers.
• Maintain focus on safety, compliance and customer service.
