Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking experienced HR Drivers to join our Brisbane operations. The role focuses on local deliveries to major customer sites with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability and delivering excellent customer service.

You must hold a current HR licence, know the Brisbane metro area, and be able to follow DHL policies. A can-do attitude, clear written and verbal communication, and willingness to undergo security clearance and a pre-employment medical are essential.

Qualifications

• Current HR licence essential.
• Previous experience performing local deliveries within the Brisbane area.
• "Can Do" attitude with a high standard of customer service.
• Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of the Brisbane metro area.
• Ability to follow DHL policies & procedures.
• Willingness to provide a current full Driving Record when requested.
• Willingness to undergo a Security Clearance & Pre Employment Medical as part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of consignment to various customer sites such as major DCs, shopping centres, wholesales & businesses
• Perform both local and shuttle duties as required
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Complete the secure delivery of items within specified time frames
• Follow company procedures associated with pre start checks, restraint of loads and securing of vehicle
• Adherence to stringent security requirements
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA
