Job summary

Hoban Recruitment is seeking a reliable Storeperson and Delivery Driver in Cairns to join a busy paint supply operation. This hands-on role combines local deliveries with general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

You will hold a current C Class driver licence and be comfortable driving an automatic ute. You must be able to lift 20–32 kg, comply with safety standards and provide a copy of your licence on the first shift. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00 am start.

Qualifications

• Current and valid C Class driver licence required.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing 20–32 kg repeatedly.
• Experience in delivery driving or warehousing is preferred.
• Reliable, safety-focused approach with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods using an automatic ute, and complete store deliveries.
• Safely load and unload drums and pails of paint.
• Handle items weighing 20–32 kg; assist with stock control.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks when deliveries are finished.
