ALH Hotels in Melbourne is seeking a Local Area Marketing Specialist - Campaigns to drive venue-specific marketing across our pub network. You will deliver end-to-end campaigns, secure creative assets, and manage timelines using Growth Toolkit frameworks.

With 2–4 years in marketing, you’ll excel at project management, data-driven optimisations, and stakeholder collaboration across Local Area Marketing Partners and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a dedicated marketing environment
• Proven ability to project manage marketing campaigns end‑to‑end
• Strong proofreading skills with attention to pricing and offers
• Strong understanding of optimisation techniques and using data to inform plans
• Strong stakeholder management with Local Area Marketing Partners and cross‑functional teams

Responsibilities

• Review venue marketing briefs and execute campaigns tailored to local nuances
• Secure key creative artwork and align messaging across channels
• Execute campaign collateral across print POS, local paid media, and venue touchpoints
• Supply the Owned Media and Community team with campaign art, offers, and specs
• Execute local event activations and venue promotions with accurate dates and pricing
• Deliver all campaigns within prescribed venue budgets and compliance requirements

• Hybrid role, based in Richmond, Melbourne

As the Local Area Marketing Specialist - Campaigns, reporting directly to the Local Area Marketing Manager - Campaigns, you will deliver the execution and production of venue‑specific marketing activity across our pub network.

Receiving briefs directly from Local Area Marketing Partners, you will utilise the Growth Playbook, creative systems, and workflow tools to turn local venue plans into actionable, high‑impact campaigns.

From planned promotional calendars to rapid‑turnaround reactive trade initiatives and local activations, you will deliver with pace and precision to grow guest visitation across our venues within this fast paced, dynamic role.

Here’s a snapshot of the responsibilities:

• Review venue marketing briefs from Local Area Marketing Partners and execute complete campaigns tailored to local nuances.
• Secure key creative artwork and align messaging across critical channels, managing scheduled timelines.
• Execute campaign collateral across print POS, local paid media, and venue touchpoints using Growth Toolkit frameworks.
• Supply the Owned Media and Community team with accurate campaign key art, offer details, and specifications for execution across owned digital channels.
• Execute local event activations and venue promotions, ensuring offer mechanics, dates, and pricing are accurate across every touchpoint.
• Deliver all campaign requirements strictly within prescribed venue budgets, maintain spend tracking, and ensure full compliance with ABAC, RSA, RSG, and gaming regulations.

What do we need from you

Now let’s talk about you:

• You bring 2–4 years of experience working in a dedicated marketing environment, with multi‑site experience highly desired.
• Proven ability to project manage marketing campaigns end‑to‑end, balancing planned rollouts with rapid reactive trade initiatives.
• Strong proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail regarding pricing, offer mechanics, and creative collateral.
• Strong understanding of optimisation techniques and using data to inform plans and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build positive and productive relationships with Local Area Marketing Partners and cross‑functional teams.
• A tertiary qualification in marketing (or equivalent experience) and prior experience in the hospitality industry are highly regarded.
