Job summary

A leading manufacturer of steel products is looking for a Loader to join their Rockhampton team. This full-time role offers day or afternoon shifts, where you will pick and load materials using a forklift and follow all safety rules. Candidates should have a reliable attitude, the ability to lift heavy items, and a forklift license (or be willing to obtain one). The job :

We are looking for a Loader to join our Rockhampton team.

Full time role with Day or Afternoon Shifts from our site in Parkhurst.

• Day shift = 5am - 1pm
• Afternoon shift = 1pm to 10pm

What you’ll do

• Safety first - follow all safety rules
• Pick and load materials using a forklift (high reach).
• Work from a loading list (some tricky freight, multiple truck drops)
• Handle paperwork and basic computer skills
• Get full training and support from the team

What we’re looking for…

• Safety focus and reliable
• Experience in manufacturing or physical work is a plus but not essential.
• Able to lift heavy items safely
• Forklift license is great (or willing to get one)
• Gantry crane experience is a bonus.
• Good attitude. If you want to learn, we can teach you and show you the ropes.
• Own transport as shift times fall outside of public transport
