Job summary

HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking experienced and reliable Forklift Operators to join our team for a major sporting event in Melbourne CBD from October 2026 to March 2027. You will help move equipment, materials and event infrastructure safely across build, site readiness, bump-in, live operations and bump-out phases.

As part of a large event operations team, you will work with onsite coordinators, contractors and labourers to ensure efficient material movements while maintaining workplace

Qualifications

• Current and valid forklift licence required.
• Experience operating a forklift in warehouses, construction, logistics or events.
• Ability to work safely around pedestrians and site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely across the event site.
• Load, unload and relocate equipment and materials.
• Move pallets and event infrastructure as directed.
• Support bump-in, live operations and bump-out.
• Assist with site preparation and material movements.
• Follow site safety procedures and instructions.
