Job summary

Allianz is seeking an Acting Litigation Specialist for a 12-month contract in Sydney. You will provide specialised management on legal and Whole Person Impairment claims, design training, and drive settlements while coordinating with panel solicitors and agencies.

The role requires extensive litigation experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and collaboration with senior stakeholders within a heavily regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive industry experience with time managing complex technical and legal claims.
• Ability to interpret complex information and support decision making.
• Strong collaboration with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in NSW Workers Compensation framework and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialised management to employers and agencies on legal and Whole Person Impairment claims.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance team knowledge and skills.
• Manage assigned claims involving litigation and negotiate settlements.
• Maintain strong relationships with panel solicitors, employers and agencies.
