GenScript Biotech Corporation invites a highly motivated, scientifically rigorous researcher to join our Innovation Center for novel lipid or polymer molecules used in RNA and gene delivery formulations. The role covers development from R&D to scale-up, with emphasis on creating organic lipid and polymer molecules for a proprietary delivery platform.

Qualifications

• PhD in organic, polymer, or lipid chemistry from an accredited university.
• Minimum 1 year of post-doctoral experience in academia or industry.
• Proven publications or patents in the field.
• Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct novel organic and lipid/polymer chemical synthesis for a proprietary lipid-based drug delivery platform.
• Develop scalable synthetic processes for potential commercial use in LNP formulations.
• Characterize and interpret analytical data from HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, etc.
• Maintain the Chemistry laboratory and inventories per GLP/GMP standards.
• Communicate research findings to supervisor and peers and suggest next steps.
• Stay updated on latest tech and scientific trends.
