Job summary

Talenza has been engaged by an Australian financial services organisation to recruit a Linux Engineer for an infrastructure and security uplift project in Brisbane. The role requires strong Linux administration within an enterprise environment and hands-on Azure experience, with scripting and IaC capabilities.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract offering a hybrid work pattern (1-2 days in office) and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a Linux Engineer/Systems Engineer in enterprise Linux environments.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure and Linux VMs, networking, storage, compute integration.
• Scripting and automation with Bash, Python, Ansible and Terraform; automating provisioning and configuration.
• Experience implementing Linux security controls, patch management, and remediation of security findings.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tooling to support automated deployment.
• Strong enterprise support and stakeholder management skills in ITIL/Agile environments.
