Ausgrid is hiring a Distribution Lineworker to inspect, install and maintain overhead network infrastructure across Sydney and regional NSW. You will support safe, reliable and affordable electricity delivery, plan and prepare works, and liaise with stakeholders while upholding high safety and quality standards.
The role requires Cert III in ESI Power Systems (or equivalent), HRWL licences (Elevated Work Platform, Dogging), a Class MR licence, and knowledge of safety regulations.

As a Distribution Lineworker, your role is critical to delivering good work safely, ensuring the ongoing safety, reliability, sustainability and affordability of our overhead network assets for our customers. Working to the highest standards of quality, cost and time, safety underpins everything you do as you inspect, install and maintain overhead network infrastructure and electrical equipment.
From structures to cables, your expertise supports safe and efficient work near live electrical apparatus. You'll also prepare work sites, liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, resolve customer issues, interpret technical documentation, and play a key role in emergency restoration work, ensuring the job is planned well and done right, every time.
