Hozzi Transport in Hillcrest, QLD is hiring an experienced Linehaul MC Driver for a full-time on-road role. You will manage long-distance freight on the Brisbane–Newcastle corridor, operating MC vehicles with emphasis on safety, compliance and on-time deliveries.

The position requires a valid MC license, 2–3 years’ MC experience, and strong communication with dispatch. A reliable team player who can work independently is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Multi-Combination (MC) driver’s license with a current, clean driving record.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience driving MC vehicles on long-distance routes.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations, load restraint standards and Heavy Vehicle National Law compliance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to identify/report vehicle maintenance issues.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills; able to work independently.
• Professional communication with dispatchers and team members.
• Physical fitness for long-distance driving and occasional manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-combination vehicles safely on linehaul routes between Brisbane and Newcastle.

Hozzi Transport is seeking an experienced Linehaul MC Driver for a full-time position based in Hillcrest, QLD. This role is pivotal to our operations, as you will be responsible for managing long-distance freight transport on the Brisbane to Newcastle corridor. Operating as a Multi-Combination (MC) driver, you will be the backbone of our logistics network, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods across this critical route. This is a full-time, on-road position that requires reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in road transport.

Key responsibilities

• Operating multi-combination vehicles safely and efficiently on linehaul routes between Brisbane and Newcastle
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all equipment is in working order and compliant with safety standards
• Maintaining accurate logbooks and documentation in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures
• Adhering to all traffic laws, weight regulations, and hours of work requirements
• Loading and unloading cargo, or supervising loading operations as required
• Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers and other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing routine maintenance checks
• Meeting delivery schedules whilst prioritising safety and compliance
• Reporting any incidents, accidents or mechanical issues promptly to management

What we're looking for
