Job summary

WPC Group, in partnership with Nissan, offers a NISSMAP Light Vehicle Apprenticeship in Frankston, VIC. This program fast-tracks your apprenticeship and provides real-world experience within Nissan dealerships, with mentoring and access to specialised Nissan training resources.

You will learn to diagnose and service vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and utilise advanced diagnostic tools while earning a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology upon completion and gaining Nissan

Qualifications

• Passionate about a career in the Automotive industry.
• Committed to an apprenticeship, including studies at TAFE.
• Desire to learn and grow further.
• Hold a current and valid drivers licence.
• Previous experience with automotive basics is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians in diagnosing and servicing Nissan vehicles.
• Maintain clean, tidy and safe working areas.
• Learn routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Work with diagnostic tools and technology to identify and resolve problems.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain an organised workspace.

About the NISSMAP Light Vehicle Apprenticeship:

• Assist qualified technicians in diagnosing and servicing Nissan vehicles
• Maintain clean, tidy and safe working areas
• Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
• Work with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and technology to identify and resolve automotive problems
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised workspace

The ideal NISSMAP Light Vehicle Apprentice:

• Passionate about a career in the Automotive industry
• Committed to an apprenticeship, including studies at TAFE
• Desire to learn and grow further
• Hold a current and valid drivers licence
• Previous experience, including a Cert II in Automotive, is beneficial, but not essential
• Accelerated NISSMAP program, with the ability to complete your apprenticeship in 2.8 Years
• Complete specialised Nissan training through their online learning academy
• Obtain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology upon completion
• Ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship from your WPC Group Mentor
• Free PPE
