Job summary

Swick Mining Services, Australia’s largest Underground Diamond Drilling Contractor, seeks an experienced Light Vehicle (LV) Fitter to join the Maintenance team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, servicing field-based workshops and ensuring faults are resolved promptly.

The successful candidate will have a manual C Class license, police clearance, ability to pass medical screening, and 3–5 years’ LV fleet experience.

Qualifications

• Current manual C Class Driver Licence or higher.
• Recent National Police Clearance (within 3 months).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role working with a fleet of light vehicles including Landcruiser, Hilux, Ranger, HiAce buses and Isuzu 4x4.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, troubleshooting and fault finding in the Swick field-based workshops.
• Ensuring statutory servicing and testing is completed, service literature is recorded and forwarded for storing.
• Set your own priorities based on discussions in pre-shift meetings with both operations and other maintenance team members
• Ensure all paperwork is completed and signed off by relevant parties
• Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock
• Daily work order and time sheet completion and submission.
• Closing out faults in Swick’s live Fault register

We are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle (LV) Fitter to join our Maintenance team on a Permanent, Full-time basis, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

The Role
