Wilkinson Lifts & Electrical is seeking a Lift Installer to join the install team on domestic and commercial lifts across the Sunshine Coast and Queensland. You’ll learn the lift trade with on‑the‑job training and get paid while you train.

No prior lift experience is required; we value tradies with hands‑on skills in steel, tools and site safety and you’ll learn the rest and be paid well as you train.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified boilermaker or mechanical fitter.
• Strong mechanical understanding.
• Confident working at heights and in tight spaces.
• White Card and a current driver’s licence.
• Hands-on, practical and take pride in your work.
• Able to read plans, problem-solve on site and get stuck in.
• Turn up, communicate well and see a job done properly from start to finish.

• Setting out, assembling and fitting steelwork, brackets and rails.
• Working side by side with experienced installers.

Lift Installer at Wilkinson Lifts & Electrical, a growing lift company installing domestic and commercial lifts across the Sunshine Coast and Queensland. You'll join the install team and learn the lift trade. You don't need lift experience – we'd rather take a good tradie and train them properly. You already know steel, tools and working safely on site, and we'll teach you the rest and pay you well while we do it.

Key responsibilities

• Installing domestic and commercial lifts in line with plans and procedures
• Setting out, assembling and fitting steelwork, brackets and rails
• Working side by side with experienced installers
• Keeping tools and work area tidy and following safety systems

About you

• Trade qualified boilermaker or mechanical fitter
• Strong mechanical understanding, you like knowing how things work and why
• Confident working at heights and in tight spaces
• White Card and a current driver's licence
• Hands-on, practical and take real pride in your work
• Comfortable reading plans, problem-solving on the fly and getting stuck in on site
• Turn up, communicate well and like seeing a job done properly from start to finish

$50–$60 an hour + super, paid on experience
