Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) required.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) required.
• Driver's license and reliable insured transport.
• All visa holders are welcome to apply.
• COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory, but may be preferred by some participants.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in daily tasks and activities.
• Promote independence, choice, and dignity.
• Help participants achieve personal goals.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve care for participants.
• Provide 2+ sleepovers per fortnight (10pm–6am inactive).
• Work some nights and weekends.
• Support someone with a PBSP for behaviours.
• Maintain reliable communication with the team.

We're looking for reliable, values-driven people to join us as Lifestyle Support Workers in a casual capacity. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, if you care about people and want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

• Supporting participants in everyday tasks, social and community activities

• Promoting independence, choice, and dignity with some level of personal care

• Working alongside participants to help them achieve their goals

• Collaborating with teammates to leave things better for the next worker

• 2+ sleepovers per fortnight (inactive 10pm-6am)

• Some nights and weekends

• Working with someone that has a PBSP for behaviours

• Being someone that can be reliable and proactive with great communication skills
