Qualifications

• A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Cert III in aged care.
• Experience in a similar role.
• A current First Aid Certificate (with CPR).
• Experience in delivering social and recreational activities and programs to seniors.
• A background in providing support to residents with cognitive impairment.
• A genuine passion to work with the elderly.
• Fabulous communication, teamwork and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Promote wellness, independence, social connections and recreation activities based on the needs and interests of our residents. Assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of meaningful activity programs that engage and connect our residents and align with their choices. Assist in the organisation of social and recreational activities.
