Job summary

Bolton Clarke in Townsville's Rowes Bay is seeking a warm Lifestyle Assistant to enhance wellbeing for older Australians through social programs and meaningful activities.

You will support planning and delivery of recreational activities, build relationships with residents, and foster an inclusive, joyful environment. Previous aged care experience and relevant certificates are required or desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aged care.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (highly desirable).
• Current First Aid Certificate (with CPR).
• The ability to build strong, positive relationships.
• Confidence engaging residents in daily programs and activities.
• Great communication and teamwork skills, along with basic computer literacy.
• Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and/or a NDIS Worker Check.

To be successful

You are someone who brings energy, compassion, and creativity to your work. You’ll also bring:

• Previous experience in aged care
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
