Job summary

Homestyle Aged Care group is seeking a caring Lifestyle Assistant to work under the Lifestyle Coordinator at Melville Grange. You will help design and run engaging activities that enrich residents’ daily lives and wellbeing, delivering purposeful programs with warmth and compassion.

This permanent role offers a stable schedule in a supportive team and opportunities to contribute to our resident-centred culture across our Victorian homes.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV Aged Care (required).
• Food Handling Certificate (HLTFSE001) or willing to obtain.
• Certificate IV Leisure and Health (desirable).
• First aid certificate (desirable).
• Current and valid police check.
• Vaccination certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing lifestyle activities for residents.
• Engage residents in purposeful programs to enrich daily life and wellbeing.
• Work under the Lifestyle Coordinator at Melville Grange to deliver activities.

About the Role

Under the direction of the Lifestyle Coordinator at Melville Grange, you will assist in the design and implementation of lifestyle activities to engage residents in purposeful and programs. Bring your passion for caring and desire to enrich and make a real difference to the lives of residents. Permanent position available.

Week 1: Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-6pm.

Week 2: Monday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 10am-6pm.
