Job summary

Belgravia Leisure’s Caboolture Pool and Fitness Centre is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards to join our team. You will oversee daily pool operations and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors.

We value water safety, strong communication, and reliability. Training provided; applicants should be able to work mornings, evenings and weekends and hold current First Aid (Level 2), CPR, and a Pool Lifeguard certificate.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of OHS and public safety standards.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR certificate.
• National Police Check may be required.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Prior lifeguard experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pool operations and safety around the facility.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patrons.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure water safety protocols are followed.
• Provide high-quality customer service and communicate clearly with guests.

This is a great opportunity for qualified lifeguards who value water safety, love working with people, who want to keep the community safe in our facilities.

The Role

We are currently seeking interest for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguards to join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. We have multiple positions available and training will be provided.
