Job summary

Intetics Inc. is seeking a Middle LiDAR Specialist to join our team and work on processing and analyzing aerial LiDAR and point cloud data for utility and power infrastructure.

The role focuses on processing, classifying, and validating LiDAR data, as well as extracting and modeling utility assets such as power lines, conductors, poles, towers, vegetation, and ground features. Collaboration with GIS teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of LiDAR/point cloud processing experience.
• Hands-on experience with point cloud classification and QA/QC.
• Experience with 3D spatial data.
• Experience with feature extraction from LiDAR data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data-quality issues.
• Basic/intermediate GIS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process, classify, and validate LiDAR data.
• Extract and model utility assets (power lines, conductors, poles, towers, vegetation, ground features).
• Collaborate with GIS teams on infrastructure projects.
