Qualifications

• Current, valid electrical licence appropriate to the work being undertaken.
• Proven experience as a qualified Electrician in the trades industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of electrical safety standards, codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and Construction Industry White Card.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and training.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
• Reading and interpreting electrical plans, blueprints and technical drawings.
• Testing electrical systems and components to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing problems efficiently.
• Performing routine maintenance on electrical installations and systems.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Communicating effectively with clients regarding project requirements and timelines.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Operating electrical tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Collaborating with other team members and trades professionals on site.
