Job summary

Skytek Pty Ltd, a leading MRO for fixed and rotary wing aircraft, invites applications for highly motivated engineers to join our Cairns-based team. The role requires a CASA Part 66 license, heavy maintenance experience and familiarity with multiple aircraft types.

Qualifications

• CASA Part 66 license required; CSA Australia or PNG preferred.
• Current ASIC card or eligible for Australian ASIC.
• Part 145 experience is required.
• Heavy maintenance experience is essential.
• Experience or licensing on DH 6 series 200-400 with PT6 preferred.
• Experience on ATR 42-72 with PW120 engines preferred.
• Dash 8 100-300 classic with PW120 engines experience preferred.
• Dash 8 Q400 with PW150 engines experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret specifications, standards and written instructions.
• Able to work autonomously and meet deadlines within a team environment.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

Skytek Pty Ltd (associated entity of Aerlink Pty Ltd) is a leading maintenance, repair and overhaul organisation (MRO), specialising in fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Our heavy maintenance facility is based in Cairns, Far North Queensland where an exciting opportunity now exists for highly motivated individuals to become an integral part of our engineering team.

Due to sustained and continual growth, exciting opportunities now exist for the following positions.

Successful Candidates Will Need To Have

• CASA Part 66 License. Preferred from CSA Australia or PNG.


• Current ASIC card or be eligible to hold Australian ASIC


• Part 145 experience,


• Heavy maintenance Experience


• Experiment/licensed on any of the following aircraft would be highly regarded -


• DH 6 series 200-400 with PT6


• ATR 42-72 series with P&W 120 series engines


• Dash 8 100-300 classic with P&W 120 Series engines


• Dash 8 Q400 with P&W 150 series engines


• Capacity to refer to and interpret specifications/standards and written technical instructions


• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines whiles part of the team


• Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
