Job summary

HeliMods on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1.3/B2) to support integration of mission systems into customer aircraft. Duties largely at Caloundra facility with occasional global deployments.

Role requires CASR Part 66 rating and at least 5 years of type experience; you will perform maintenance, integration, testing, and provide technical input to improve reliability while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current CASR Part 66 AW139 B1.3 or B2 type rating.
• At least 5 years of type experience.
• Experience in integration of complex mission systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to obtain an ASIC and pass random drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, testing, and flight tests of mission systems.
• Assist production with assembly of systems and subsystems.
• Maintain records and traceability of maintenance operations.
• Provide technical input to improve maintainability and reliability.
• Collaborate with customer, project, engineering, and production teams.
• Adhere to safety protocols and approvals.
