Job summary

Lismore Base Hospital, part of the Northern NSW Local Health District, seeks a proactive librarian to support the Library Service in Lismore NSW. Working under the Library Manager, you will provide day-to-day library duties and contribute to a high-quality, customer-focused information service, with possible travel to sites outside Lismore.

There will be a particular focus on research activities as required, and you will collaborate with colleagues to enhance access to resources and information

• Undertake a full range of library duties in the day-to-day operation of the Library Service.
• Collaborate with the Library Manager and staff to provide a high quality, customer-focused information service.
• Assist in research activities and support staff and visitors with information resources.

Providing a high quality, proactive customer focused library and information service, under the general direction of, and in collaboration with the Library Manager, undertaking a full range of library duties in the day-to-day operation of the Library Service, possibly including travel to sites outside Lismore. There will be a particular focus on research activities as required.
