A dynamic mining company in Western Australia is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support, managing contracts, and advising on mining law. The ideal candidate will have an Australian Practising Certificate and 4–7 years of post-admission experience. Vault Minerals Legal team operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, delivering expert legal advice and support to our Darlot, King of the Hills, Deflector, Rothsay, and Mount Monger operations as well as to our corporate office.
Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, the Legal Counsel will be an integral member of our small legal team, working closely with senior management and operational personnel to provide comprehensive legal advice and support across all aspects of our operations. This role is responsible for assisting the General Counsel & Company Secretary in delivering strategic commercial and legal guidance, including drafting and preparing contractual documentation for Executive approval.
The role is based at our corporate office in South Perth and operates Monday to Friday with occasional travel to our operational sites.
As part of our recruitment process, we require a pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol screen and a National Police Clearance.
