Job summary

Profusion, a leading financial services in-house team, is seeking a commercially minded lawyer with 3–7 years PQE to advise across investments, funds management, life insurance and related regulatory matters.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, support product development and strategic initiatives while navigating a complex regulatory environment. Hybrid role in Sydney or Melbourne, 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 3-7 years PQE in corporate or financial services law.
• Prior investments or funds management experience is essential.
• Experience in financial services, life insurance or superannuation preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and pragmatic legal advice.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Unrestricted practising certificate.

Responsibilities

Joining a high-performing Corporate Legal team, you will provide legal advice across investments, funds management, life insurance, superannuation and broader financial services matters. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll support strategic business initiatives, product development, regulatory matters, investments and commercial transactions while helping the business navigate a complex regulatory environment.

• Open to first movers from private practice with relevant funds management or investments experience
