Qualifications

• A recognised Social Work qualification and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
• Experience in teaching, student supervision and/or placement education within higher education, health, social services, justice or community-based settings.
• A commitment to inclusive teaching practices, culturally responsive practice, interprofessional collaboration and community engagement, particularly within rural contexts.
• An emerging or established research profile, including scholarly publications and a demonstrated capacity to contribute to research funding initiatives and collaborative research projects.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across academic, health and community sectors.

• Contribute to innovative interprofessional education initiatives and community-engaged learning that promotes culturally responsive practice and positive health outcomes.
• Undertake independent and collaborative applied research in rural health and wellbeing, producing high-quality publications, research outputs and funding opportunities.
• Join a multidisciplinary team committed to improving the health and wellbeing of rural, remote and Aboriginal communities through education, research and community engagement.

Job description

• Make a meaningful impact on rural and remote health outcomes through teaching, student placement leadership and applied research.
• Join a nationally recognised rural health centre and collaborate with universities, health services and community organisations across the Midwest and Pilbara.
• Part-time (0.6 FTE) or Full-time (1 FTE) appointment on a tenurable basis.
• Base salary range: Level B, $122,876.00 – $145,404 p.a. (pro‑rate) plus 17% superannuation.
