Job summary

Adelaide University is seeking a Teaching and Research academic to join the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Science in the Adelaide CBD. The role includes teaching undergraduate courses in reproduction and development, contributing to curriculum and course coordination, and developing a strong research program with potential for Category 1 funding.

The successful candidate will supervise Undergraduate and Graduate Research students and participate in research and administrative duties within

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification in reproductive biology or developmental biology.
• Experience lecturing, seminars, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations and workshops in reproductive/developmental biology.
• Strong research interests with demonstrated ability to achieve high-quality and impactful research outcomes.
• Proven contribution to research projects including publications, grant applications and/or project management.
• Experience in supervising undergraduate, honours and graduate research students.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to curriculum development and deliver lectures, tutorials and courses on Reproduction and Developmental Biology.
• Coordinate undergraduate courses focused on Reproduction and Developmental Biology, Developmental Origins of Health, and Assisted Reproductive Technologies.
• Develop a research program strengthening capacity and attract Category 1 funding.
