UNSW invites applications for Lecturer (Level B) in the School of Accounting, Auditing & Taxation, UNSW Business School, Kensington Campus, NSW.

Roles are 5-year fixed term teaching and research convertible tenure track positions with a competitive remuneration package including 17% superannuation. The appointee will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, conduct impactful research, supervise HDR students and collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline and evidence of teaching experience at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and commitment to educational excellence.
• Experience using educational technologies and contemporary delivery methods.
• Strong research track record with impactful outputs.
• Ability to contribute to research leadership, collaboration and competitive funding applications.
• Engagement with industry and/or the profession.
• Ability to support students from diverse backgrounds and contribute to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Design engaging learning activities, assessments and resources across diverse environments.
• Contribute to curriculum development, course administration and quality assurance.
• Maintain and develop pedagogy and disciplinary knowledge.
• Undertake independent and collaborative research; contribute to teaching-research balance.
• Develop research projects and contribute to grant applications.
• Contribute to HDR supervision and development of students and colleagues.
• Participate in School and Faculty activities, committees and seminars.
