Job summary

Aquinas Catholic College Menai, part of Sydney Catholic Schools, invites applications for a Coordinator 1 teaching role. The position is full-time and permanent, with a 1-point promotion and temporary for up to 3 years, teaching TAS and related Industrial Technology subjects.

You will bring expertise in TAS, strong classroom management, and a Catholic educational ethos; a tertiary Education qualification and NESA accreditation are expected.

Qualifications

• Expertise in TAS and ability to teach Stage 5-6 Industrial Technology Timber.
• Experience with Construction VET and Furnishing VET is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.
• Deliver Stage 5-6 IT Timber, Construction VET and Furnishing VET courses.
• Uphold school Catholic ethos and contribute to school-wide programs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and collaboration with staff.
