Job summary

This role will lead the Remote Aboriginal Teacher Education program and support Aboriginal educators to access professional learning and career pathways into teaching and specialist education roles.

As part of the School Leadership, Culture and Care team, you will lead regional RATE Professional Learning Leaders and support school-based RATE champions to build workforce

Qualifications

• Experience at Senior Administrative Officer level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and sustain the Aboriginal educator workforce.
• Lead the Remote Aboriginal Teacher Education program implementation.
• Support Aboriginal educators to access professional learning and career pathways into teaching and specialist education roles.
• Lead regional RATE Professional Learning Leaders and support school-based RATE champions to build workforce capability, cultural responsiveness and representation across Northern Territory schools.
