Job summary

Palladium's Pacific Labour Mobility Support Program (PLMSP) seeks a Country Liaison Officers & Delegations Coordinator – Learning and Development in Brisbane. You will coordinate CLO portfolios, support travel and onboarding, and help ensure safe, efficient, compliant activities across Australia and the Pacific.

You will work with CLOs, LSUs, DFAT, DEWR and Approved Employers, contribute to guidance and resources, and use data and systems to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
• High level of professionalism with diplomatic sensitivity.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Experience in event planning and management, including procurement, travel and logistics planning.
• Basic finance/accounting experience (e.g., reconciling travel allowances).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Driver’s licence and flexibility to undertake frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary operational contact for allocated partner-country portfolios.
• Coordinate the implementation of country-level activities and initiatives.
• Identify emerging operational issues, risks and priorities and work with stakeholders.
• Provide travel and logistics coordination for CLOs and delegations.
• Support CLOs induction, onboarding and ongoing learning and development activities.
• Contribute to development and improvement of CLOs guidance, resources, records and systems.
• Support capability-building and continuous improvement initiatives for CLOs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with CLOs, LSUs, DFAT, DEWR, employers, service providers and stakeholders.
• Utilize systems, data, and technology to improve workflows and reporting.
