Job summary

South West Healthcare is seeking a Learning and Development Subject Matter Expert to coordinate the implementation of the Department of Health Recognititon of Prior Learning (RPL) Framework across the organisation and the South West Local Health Service Network. This role will support workforce reform by reducing duplicated training and increasing clinical time for patient care.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project coordination, ideally within health, education or workforce development.
  • Expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, eLearning and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate multiple workstreams.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of the RPL framework across SWH and the LHNs.
  • Coordinate project activities, stakeholder engagement, curriculum alignment, content authoring.
  • Develop systems and processes to embed consistent and sustainable RPL practices.

Employment Type: Part time (54 hours per fortnight), Fixed term 12-month position

Location: Warrnambool Campus

Classification: Administration Grade 3

Salary Range: $77,426.44 - $85,597.72 pro rata, plus superannuation

About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a motivated Learning and Development Subject Matter Expert to coordinate the implementation of the Department of Health Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Framework across South West Healthcare and the South West Local Health Service Network. This project will support a significant workforce reform initiative aimed at reducing duplicated training, improving workforce mobility and increasing clinical time available for patient care.

Working closely with education teams and regional partners, you will coordinate project activities, stakeholder engagement, curriculum alignment, content authoring and the development of systems and processes to embed consistent and sustainable RPL practices.
